hihi, i'm back from my Hkg trip.. really enjoyed myself coz the weather was really cooling. i love cold weather!!!
baby was rather cooperative but i had gastric for a first few days. oni feel nausea on the ferry to Macau. rather good appetite!! but i had a bad sore throat n starting coughing towards the end of the trip.
the lady who sat next to mi on the plane was really scared when she said mi coughing non-stop, why i know?? coz she immediately put on a mask!! :p
anyway, i went to see my GP Dr. Wong aft work today.. no choice cannot take MC coz it will be considered as unpaid leave. hope i get well soon.
the freaking red spotting finally stopped.. wonder if it's coz of the progesterone jab. went for my 2nd appt with Dr. Choey and again my sis accompanied me along. the appt was for 4.30pm but i need to go to the AMC for ultrasound scan first.
i dunno why everytime must wait so long, tis time i waiting 45mins!!!! sonographer did a tummy scan but couldn't get a good scan of bb so she said she will go a vagina scan. i asked to go to toilet to empty my bladder and she refused to let me go. i tink the vagina scan is not any better than the tummy scan lor.. i can barely see bb at all n tis bloodly sonographer keep telling me can see bb n fetal pole. gave me a copy of the scan to keep. u tell mi wat u can see, all i see is a white shadow lor.. WTH!!
after the scan i went clinic B to see Dr. Choey, another long long wait!!! 6pm liao and not even my turn yet and there's a super hyper malay toddler running n screaming in clinic B. his parents dun really bother to control him. my sis couldn't stand the wait and went of to Robinsons to do some work.
i tink i oni see Dr. Choey at 6.30pm lor.. he said i should be happy liao coz bb got heartbeat. yup, definately a peace of mind liao.. but i still complained to him abt dat Dr. Janice Chin. he said Dr. Chin is a straight-forward person and i'm nt the one who had a bad impression on her. hahaha, so everyone tinks the same la. was given 2 bottles of prenatal vitamins samples, aspirin (to thin my blood) and duphaston to take.. next appt in 5wks time on 10Dec. btw, i told Dr. Choey i wan to switch over to The Private Suite (TPS) coz the wait at clinic B and AMC is really freaking long. moreover, when i go TPS, the ultrasound is done by Dr. Choey personally and there is evening sessions to choose from.
i had earlier asked Dr. Choey if i can take the influenza jab, at first he said ok but later coz the pharmacist called him n said cannot, he changed his mind n told mi to take during 2nd tri. hope i wun fall sick during my Hkg trip. by the time i leave KKH, it's 7pm odd liao.
had a really big scare tis afternoon.. had just came out of toilet and sat down on my seat when i felt something gushed out.. immediately went to the toilet n saw a 50cent coin size of red spotting and i mean fresh red.. not the usual brown spotting which may occur during 1st trimester.
i really freaked out and asked for urgent leave to go KKH 24hrs clinic.. called my sis and she rushed down from her office to wait for mi at KKH. met up my sis n went to the 24hrs clinic.. really crowded in there.. the red spotting doesn't seems to stopped n i couldn't stop tinking of the worst n cried, coz it's a day fm the 1st anniversary of my 2nd miscarriage. it would be really cruel if i were to miscarriage again and same date a year apart. i confirm will go bonkers and break-down!! my sis encouraged me to stay positive for bb. finally after an hrs wait, i got to see the gynea on duty called Dr. Janice Chin. she asked me the usual questions on last menses date and miscarriage history. then she did a vagina scan for me and said that there is fetal pole. it really was a relieve to see bb's heartbeat but i was still worried abt the red spotting.
tis Dr. Chin was really direct, hate her to the core lor!! i asked her for progesterone jab and she said if bb is meant to be lost, no matter what we do also wun help. but she will still let me have the jab if i insist. then she said 1st trimester bb is own it's own, nothing can help one.. oni 2nd tri onwards when bb is link to mummy den taking medicine works. really b*tch lor!!! hope i wun see her ever again!!!!
asked her for 1/2day MC and she said it's either 1 day MC or time chat, refused to give hospitalisation leave coz i was not warded. WTH!!! my previous 2 gyneas Dr. Adelina Wong and Dr. Adrian Woodworth can give hospitalisation leave when i told them i've used up all my MC. so i told her just give one day, but will apply only 1/2day fm work since i went off after 1pm. really hope the red spotting stops soon n bb be healthy!!
