after the long wait.. finally it's 30Oct. took time off from work for my appt at KKH which was scheduled at 3.30pm at clinic B. i reach just abt time, but i had to wait abt 1hr before i saw Dr. Choey!! he was rather surprise i got pregnant so fast coz i had earlier miscarriaged in Jun. very fast meh, i took 2 cycles of clomid before conceiving one.. hubby even said if this cycle still failed, we will take a few mths rest before trying again, on my side, i even tot of giving up the idea of having a child.
Dr. Choey asked if i went for the ultrasound scan prior to seeing him, i was like "huh, i wasn't told that i need to go for any scan when i came lor". so i was send to the AMC outside clinic A to do my scan. another 30mins wait before my turn lor.. the sonographer tried to do a tummy scan, couldn't find the sac.. told me to empty my bladder as she wanted to try a vagina scan. i went back to the room after going to the toilet and the vagina scan started.. took some time to locate the sac.. beri small since only 6wk 3d.. no fetal pole detect yet. *worried*
after the scan i went back clinic B again, another round of waiting... Dr. Choey commented that the scan doesn't look good as the sac was a little small for 6wk+ and the yolk a little too big.. *super worried*. he said not to tink too much and come back to see him on 06Nov.
all i can pray is dat bb will be healthy tis time.. i can't face history repeating again...
i took leave to go down to the polyclinic for a urine test to confirm the pregnancy.. tink i spent abt 1hr+ there...
saw the doc on duty, doesn't seem really friendly and not a local. asked me when was my last menses n sent me to the lab for urine test.. the result was positive!! went back to the doc's room again where the doc congratulate me and prescribed me with folic acid. she said any other kind of medicine muz go KKH den have. *bleah* asked her for the referral letter to KKH.. guess wat, the referral date is even later than my own appt, it's 02Nov lor. i rather stick to my own appt as this also means i get to see Dr. Choey rather than other gynea on duty. do note that if u get a referral letter fm polyclinic to KKH, u are consider a subsidies patient.. charges are cheap but u only get to see which ever gynea is on duty.. my hubby n i prefer to stick to one gynea throughout.
have decided with hubby that we will go to Dr. Ben Choey at KKH for this pregnancy.. he is the 3rd gynea i've been too and so far the best whom we could get along with. he is a very caring and humorous gynea... maybe coz our age gap is not too much, which is why we find it easier to communicate with him..
called KKH to made an appt and the earliest i can see Dr. Choey is 30Oct. *bleah* seems like a long time lor, 2 whole weeks!!! maybe when i go to the polyclinic tml for urine test, will ask for a referral to see if can cut short the waiting time.
after 3 miscarriages in a year (2 on the same dates a year apart), we are now starting on a new journey.
bought guardian pharmacy's housebrand HPT to rest as i've been having some preggie symptoms.. when u go thru 3 pregnancies before, u just gotta believe in ur 6th sense, except one time which my 6th sense got wrong. true enough, the test was positive!!!
was really estastic and scared.. will history repeat itself?? my fears are more compared to happiness.. didn't wan to disappoint the man (hubby) again.
will go to the polyclinic for a urine test to confirm.. all i pray for is a smooth pregnancy this time and a healthy bb in 9mths+ time.
